A DeFi product, essentially one or a set of smart contracts.
The smart contract was first proposed by Dr. Nick Szabo in the 1990s. In the doctor's thesis, the first use case for a smart contract is a financial contract.
However, due to the lack of a credible execution environment in the 1990s, smart contracts have not been applied to the real industry.
On January 3, 2009, after Bitcoin was born, it was discovered that the underlying technology of Bitcoin, the blockchain, was born to provide a credible execution environment for smart contracts.
