Maker Voting to Increase Stability Fee Days After Hiking to 11.5%

Maker holders are once again voting on whether to increase DAI’s stability fee with the majority so far voting to increase it by 3% to 14.5%.

More than 13,000 MKR tokens, worth about $10 million, are voting for the 3% increase. The runner up at 6,000 MKR is at 2%, while some 3,500 MKRs are voting for 4%.

Just 1,000 MKR are of the view they should maintain the fee where it is at 11.5%, while almost no one thinks they should bother with a 1% increase.

This is days after they voted to increase the fee from 7.5% to 11.5% on April 11th. That itself was days after they voted to increase the fee from 3.5% to 7.5% on March 21st, which itself was days after they increased the fee from 1.5% to 3.5% on March 7.
