It is surprising that the unplanned maintenance of Binance was followed by the hacking of the Binance Chain-focused SAFU Wallet, as we have recently reported. Binance DEX said its users had not identified the use of the SAFU Wallet and that the user data had been stolen. It is still unclear how Binance was affected by the hacking.
